I lost my dog of 15 years a year ago. He had pretty bad separation anxiety and lived with cancer the last 6 months of his life. I am OK with senior dogs if they can somewhat control their bowls. I have volunteered for local animal shelters on and off as a foster home and dog socializer. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I love to go for long walks and hikes in our local neighborhood canyon. I use my body along with my voice to communicate with animals. I live in a condo - two level end unit with patio and lots of grass right outside my door. I live alone and currently own a small tortoise which is kept in a private room. I am ok if dogs jump on the couch, I will usually lay down a blanket first. Im ok if dogs want to sleep in bed with me. I can provide references even though I am new to Rover!
