Sarah has watched my dog on a previous occasion, and everything was fine. One this occasion, she was pet-sitting for a few days while I was out of town. We had arranged that she could leave a few hours before I got back on my return day. When I did arrive home, I found a broken glass in my kitchen sink. I also found two piles of dog poop in my bedroom. I had left instructions that whenever Sarah had to leave at any point during the stay, that she make sure all the doors were closed. One evening Sarah contacted me asking if I could find someone to check on my dog because she had to work late. I'm glad she let me know, and even though I was out of town, I did find a friend to check on my dog, but I found this to be very unprofessional. I realize that sometimes people have to work late, but I felt that she should have had a contingency plan in place in the event that she had to work later than usual. I feel that since I was paying her to watch my dog, she was responsible for making sure my dog was looked after if she could not be there according to the timeframe that we had worked out. Again, things were fine the previous time she stayed at my house to watch my dog - I'm not sure what happened this time.

Sarah took great care of our dog and house while we were away. She sent pictures too which was so nice to see how well our “baby” was doing in her care.
