Dogs are my passion!
Pet care experience
I've worked as a dog daycare assistant before and I absolutely loved it! It was definitely hard work, but it was all worth it! I'm a senior at Huntington University studying criminal justice! My goal is to become a k9 handler! Of what sort or kind, that’s still in the air. I've always loved animals and I always will! I have had experience with some high energy dogs before, so I will be able to handle all types of dogs! I would love to help with your dogs in any way I can! I’ve always had pets growing up, so I’ve always been around them! Animals have made such an impact in my life that I’m wanting my career to be revolves around them! I recently got a puppy of my own, a GSD Aussie mix! I can’t imagine my life without dogs! I care for my pets in my home by cuddling my cats, feeding them a high quality kibble, making sure they get checked at the vet when needed to. I can accommodate however a client might want me to take care of their fur baby!
Reviews
We absolutely loved Sarah! She sent us pictures which we loved! The service was super convenient and we were happy knowing our dogs were being cared for in our own home!
I was very upset when I returned home from my week long vacation. Upset with the way my house looked, upset with Sarah for making the messes, upset because I feel my pets were not cared for properly, and upset that I hired someone from Rover. I paid extra to have my dog Wilson walked everyday and I don’t believe that he was. I asked that the flavors of his food be rotated and they weren’t. I also asked for my cats litter box be cleaned out daily, and there were several days worth of urine in it. I also asked that he be brushed if he allowed and I know he was not. I did not ask to come home to dirty dishes in my living room and kitchen. My laundry room was littered with small pieces of paper and another dogs fur. My bed was an unmade mess and crumbs all over my nightstand. My bathroom counter top was was dirty and disgusting, and your dirty towel was still in it. There were long hairs left in the shower and dirt drips down the front of my vanity. There were left overs in the fridge uncovered, some kind of meat cooked in my baking pan. Also my fridge handle was covered with food. My hot pads were dirty, and there was cat food spilled on my antique cabinet. I am so disappointed and upset. This is the first time I’ve tried Rover, and I never will again. I paid $350.00 to have my pets cared for poorly and my house trashed. Sarah did send me pictures during the week. My dog looked miserable, and I could tell by the picture that Sarah had worn a pair of my sandals. Shame on Rover for hiring her, and shame on me for throwing away my money.
Sarah is a wonderful kitty sitter! We decided last minute to schedule a 1-off Rover drop-in visit during a partial week vacation, and it was so huge for her to agree last minute and also during the holidays. She always does a great job taking care of our little boy cats, and she seems to love them as much as we do! Thank you Sarah -
Very helpful and worked hard in messy conditions.

I offer drop ins and walks, in which case, the pets will go potty and get some energy out. I will feed them if directed to!
Information Sarah S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know what his/her usual day looks like and what times he/she gets fed. I would also love to know how he or she acts behaviorally.
A typical day
We will probably walk around the neighborhood and maybe some trails! We sometimes get a special treat, like pup cups, if it’s really hot! We can play fetch with balls or frisbees! Or just chill and sunbathe if that’s more up your dog’s alley!
