I’ve been extremely devoted to caring for animals my whole life. When people need to travel or be away from their beloved pets, their animals should be in a safe, loving, and interactive place. I used Rover in my hometown, Emmaus, Pennsylvania for years, but I’ve moved to Boulder, Colorado for college—I’m currently getting my biology degree. I worked for animal hospitals in high school and wildlife internships in college. I’m used to taking care of dogs on the daily. I grew up with my 2 loving, big dogs and it was my responsibility to take care of them. I’m home most of the day and will be able to take care of your pet’s daily needs—whether that be medication, walks, specialized meals, etc. I will also take your dog(s) on long walks. I love all dogs no matter the breed and hopefully I’ll get to meet yours! Just let me know!

I'm pretty sure my dog called my travel agent after I picked her up from Sarah's to send me away on another trip. Sarah was super responsive the moment I was interested in booking with her and when we did the meet and greet she brought her dog Charlie who Lyna got along quite well with. Her property has plenty of room for the dogs to run and play and I was so comfortable leaving her that I waited for sarah to let me know how Lyna was doing with photos. I sat back and enjoyed my vacation the whole time. When I picked her up she came out to the car happy, off of the leash as if she lived at the house!! That speaks volumes for how well she was taken care of. I will def use Sarah again...oh and bonus, her father offered to take Lyna if need be!! Awesome sitters lots of space and great dogs to play with!!

I believe in an interactive environment for pets. No animals should be in a cage all day long while their owner is away. I learned how important enrichment (a creative outlet) is in studying animal biology, and will make sure to provide that for your animal. I will also send plenty of photos of your dog playing, walking, sleeping if requested! I now have a Nikon camera, and can take high-quality, professional photos that you can frame. Regarding safety, if your dog(s) get nervous around other animals or is prone to running off, I will make sure to have them in a safe environment. I want to learn about your dog's personality when we meet. When boarding and walking dogs, I have never had a dog get injured or lost, and want to make sure it stays that way.

I need to know if your animal has special medications, allergies or is prone to being nervous around other animals. I want to provide a safe environment for them. If I’m taking care of another pup and you and the other owner are okay with them being together, I need organize an in-person meeting to make sure they get along; When I'm dog boarding, I value the safety and health of your pet over anything else.
A typical day
I will make sure to entertain your dogs while they miss you, for example tug of war with their favorite chew toy, long walks in the park, plenty of cuddles, etc. Every animal is unique and I will adjust to their favorite activities whether it’s napping for an easygoing/elderly pup or long walks for a young/energetic pup. I'd like to learn all about your dog's personalities so I can prevent injuries, getting lost, etc. I've never had this occur, and learning about your dog's personality and preferences prevents this!

Availability
My internship and other classes this summer are online so I will be at mostly be at my home and be able to provide your pet comfort and company. I can also take them for a long walk at beautiful parks and provide plenty of fun spots for your dog to enjoy.
