Hi all! My name is Sarah and I am a junior at the University of Washington. I had the sweetest Australian shepherd named Ace for about 8 years before I left home for UW! He recently passed away and I miss him dearly, but I will always cherish the memories we made hiking, walking and playing together over the years! I routinely gave Ace walks, meals, baths and love! I was often in charge of making sure he was well fed, had enough water, went to the bathroom enough, and making sure he had enough cuddle/play time while my parents were out of town. I also spent a less than ideal amount of time making sure he had not eaten anything he wasn’t supposed to or had not gone potty anywhere he wasn’t supposed to. Good and bad, I learned how to take care of a dog and had the absolute best time doing so! I cannot wait to have a dog of my own. For now, on my college student budget, walking dogs is the perfect amount of dog love and care I can provide! As a student, my weekday evenings and weekends are consistently free. My Monday and Friday afternoons are free as well. There is no way I'd rather spend them than walking a furry friend! I love to run and hike. I especially love to walk, run and hike with dogs. I will definitely be able to keep up with your pup! My dog also suffered from epilepsy so if there are any special needs or requirements that your dog has, with prior notice, I am willing and able to give them the proper care and attention they need.
