Full of Puppy and People Love

Pet care experience

I'm an animal-lover who grew up with animals in my house, did pet-sitting instead of babysitting as a kid and young adult, and have been working with foster dogs and rescues ever since I moved out of the house 13 years ago. I have my own dog Eula whose possibly a bigger dog lover than I am. Any dogs staying with me for day-care or overnight boarding will need to be able to get along with other dogs on walks as we will encounter them often since we live in a very dog friendly apartment complex. I work from home and usually take a break every 2 hours or so to take the pups on a walk. Most of the restaurants on my street are dog-friendly, so I take the dogs with me almost everywhere I go. There are no children or aggressive animals or people in my home. I recently started living by myself (yay!) so the environment is safe, clean, and controllable. Eula is a Carolina Dog I rescued at about a year old. She was found living on a Reservation and had just had a litter before being saved. It's presumed someone took her puppies and then left her. She's the best thing that's happened to my life and I'm so thankful we found each other. She's the biggest sweetheart, very submissive, and has never shown an ounce of aggression (even when she should). She's good with dogs of all sizes and loves to play and snuggle. Regardless of how shy a dog is at first to meet her, she has been able to convince every dog she meets to snuggle and let her lick their face (her ultimate life goal) and give corn-cob nibbles (a grooming and affectionate social behavior) within 24 hours of their stay. She adjusts her playfulness to the size and energy of the dog she is with, probably because she had puppies at a young age before I rescued her. She's much more dog motivated than anything else (except maybe squirrels), so she will be super excited to see you and your pup and immediately go in for kisses. We live in an apartment building called The Henri in Pike and Rose NoBe. It's super dog friendly. We have a small dog park on the roof and behind the building. We live on the 5th floor and have elevators. The floors in my apartment are hardwood with carpet in the bedrooms and a few area rugs throughout.

Sarah Rose was an amazing pet sitter. She even helped him get house broken and was extremely tentative to our little pup.
