We were very happy with Sarah’s care of Ziva, she took her on a day of hiking and spent the night, great job and hope to repeat!

Sarah was great! She is so nice and kind and you could tell how much she really loved animals. I would definitely recommend her!

I am a veterinarian and have worked with Sarah for some months now. I find her to not only be delightful but a loving pet person, compassionate and kind. She is organized and smart. She is my cat sitter for when I am out of town. I trust her implicitly. You would be lucky to have her on your team.

Walking distance to parks & beach

I had a hard time pinpointing my years of experience with dogs as they have always been so tightly intertwined with my life. I can’t remember a time in my life I was living without at least one dog, or was working with them in some capacity, ranging from shelters to veterinary clinics. I graduated from the University of New England with my bachelors in animal behavior and I currently work as a technician ...

What Sarah would like to know about your dog

I would like to meet an owner and the dog before doing any sitting, and preferably before walks so the dog can get to know me while owner is present. I believe that every dog is different and this is not contingent upon their breed. I would like to know things your pet enjoys (specific treats/activities/toys) as well as their health background/the contact of owners preferred vet. I would also like to know if the dog has cues it gives when it needs to use the bathroom, any parts of its body that may be sensitive to touch, and generally anything that pushes it’s buttons or agitates it.

When Sarah watches your pet

As long as it’s okay with the owner I love taking dogs to nearby dog parks, and beach near my house (dogs permitted any time sept-may and evenings may-sept). If your dog is boarding for longer periods and we become comfortable with each other I love taking dogs on longer hikes that may involve a car ride to get to.
