I had a hard time pinpointing my years of experience with dogs as they have always been so tightly intertwined with my life. I can’t remember a time in my life I was living without at least one dog, or was working with them in some capacity, ranging from shelters to veterinary clinics. I graduated from the University of New England with my bachelors in animal behavior and have previously worked 4 years as a technician for an animal clinic. There I spent my days providing care for and helping animals feel at home. This job brought me confidence in working with all sizes and breeds of dogs, while also helping to improve my ability to maintain control over them and help them stay calm in potentially stressful situations. My love for animals has led me to seek out more time with them outside of work! I have 2 dogs of my own and we love to find new parks and trails to explore on my days off, as well as value our snuggling time on the couch with a good book.
