Fun-Loving Pet Nanny w/ Fenced Yard
Pet care experience
I am a dog lover, dog owner, and former dog fosterer. I work with special needs students during the school year, but am home full time during the summer. Our house has a large backyard with a a doggy door and an 8 foot fence. I am happy to accept puppies and dogs with special needs. Although I am not a trainer, I have worked hard training my dog, and am happy to work on manners, obedience and tricks with your dogs too. I believe in positive reinforcement only, and lots of it! If your dog is able, I enjoy taking the dogs on long walks, trips to the dog park, and off-leash hikes in the Crockett hills. Frequent photo updates available :) My 2-year-old is very playful and friendly. Our cats are dog friendly, but I will keep them in a separate part of the house if necessary. Pick up/drop off available if you live within 10 miles. There will be an additional toll fee for pickups/drop offs in Vallejo.

We boarded our dog Chloe at Sarah's house and she had a wonderful stay. Sarah was lovely, flexible, communicative, and responsible. We'll definitely use her for pet sitting again!
Sarah would be an amazing dog sitter or walker! She's incredibly loving with her dog Oliver, and he's a big sweetheart. Sarah is a very responsible and caring person. I think she would be perfect for this role. Her backyard is big and entirely enclosed. My dog Bentley (aka Houdini the escape artist) had never gotten out when Sarah has dog sat him for me.

I will accept intact dogs that are under one year old; older dogs must be fixed. For the safety of all animals in my care, I ask that you provide proof of current vaccines and let me know what flea preventative you use/last administration date - we can make a call to your vet together if that is easier. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions. I am open to dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes, but please, human and dog-friendly pups only.
A typical day
Some activities include: playing games/fetch in the backyard, walks around the hilly neighborhood, visits to the Pinole dog park and off leash hikes in the Crockett hills. Some days can be very hot here, so those days may involve morning outings, indoor play and wading pool/sprinkler fun.
