I’m Sarah. My experience with dogs started when I was a little baby. I grew up living with canines, and my family raised me with the idea that pets are part of the family. They showed me how to take care of them, how to treat them, and how to respect them. What I love most about being a pet sitter is that even when you’re having a bad day, having a pup by your side can make everything better. I’ve owned all dogs of several different breeds and sizes, including Chihuahuas, French Poodles, Schnauzers, and German Shepherds. I volunteered at Saving Grace NC for their "Host a Dog Weekend," and it was fantastic. I hosted a Labrador named Thea and showed her how to go to the bathroom and how to behave in a home. I don’t have any certifications or special training for pet care, but I can provide your pooch with a happy, special, and fun time while you’re away. I really really love my neighborhood in downtown Raleigh because it’s full of dogs and has lots of parks. There are always people walking their pups and plenty of safe places to explore. My apartment is not the biggest one, but I think it’s peaceful. It’s a good environment to spend time with my furry guests. I go on three walks a day and consider myself an active and energetic person. I’m responsible and patient, which make me a great pet sitter because no matter what is going on, I always act calm. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish and highly responsible in every single area of my life. I work from home, which makes caring for pets easy. I treat all dogs like they are part of my family.
