Hey there! I am an undergrad student with a very flexible schedule! My family and I only have two cats (have had them for 10 years now since they were kittens), however, for almost a year now, I have been a volunteer for the Recycled Pomeranian and Schipperke Rescue! Through being an active volunteer for the rescue, I have been given the chance to help dogs find their forever homes and spend more time around dogs in general. There have been numerous times in the past where I have taken care of my neighbor's dogs before I joined the rescue team! When I take care of my neighbor's dogs, I love taking them on walk/runs and making sure they're comfortable with me by doing the best I can to follow their normal routine. I am a huge advocate for communication with owners so if you want updates about or pictures of your dog while you are gone, I will be more than happy to provide as many updates as you would like! As a pet owner myself, I completely understand that pets are just as valuable as human family members, so I can promise you that I will treat them as such.
