Been running my own Animal Care business for 2 years now- mainly dog walking, but also farm animal care. Currently looking for new clients during the weekdays- I have open slots for dog-walking!! I have remained healthy throughout quarantine, and can wear a mask & gloves unto your home if requested.. I live and grew up in New Paltz New York and I have worked with animals for about 3-4 years, mainly dogs. I was responsible for feeding, bathing, medicating, intensive cleaning, being outside for hours in any weather, as well as documenting all necessary things such as whether the animal is eating, taking there meds, enjoying themselves vs. being upset, and always finding a way to fix it. Where I worked was called a Pet Resort, for when people go away on vacation, but Monday through Friday we also served as a "Daycare." When people go to work, they drop their dog off for the day, and then pick them up on their way home. We would get up to 50 daycare dogs a day, sometimes more, plus whoever was already boarding. I have also been house sitting and pet sitting for neighbors and friends for years. I have helped out with watering plants, taking mail in, and bring the trash cans in and out. I have also taken care of any other pets in the home, Pigs, goats, horses, ducks, chicken, fish, reptiles, rabbits, hamsters, etc. Really willing to help out in ANY way!! I mainly dog-walk (most requested, but also have experience with farm animals) I also have recieved my Associate’s degree as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, but have chosen to pursue my career with animals because they are my passion! I am always looking for ways to connect with each individual animal I see them each as very unique and special! I definitely have a slight sociologist perspective when thinking of the relationship of humans and pets and what we do for eachother!
