I currently help take care of my family's dogs, which are 2 cocker spaniels (pet store) of ages 9 and 11, a pitbull mix who we rescued at 5 months old and is now 2.5 years old, and my sister's dog who is a rescued 4 year old pomeranian/chihuahua mix. I also help take care of my neighbors dogs, which are two goldendoodles (pet store), a beagle/blue heeler mix (rescue), and a black lab (rescue). I have watched the dogs of the family I babysit for, which includes one yellow lab who was rescued and one cocker spaniel who was purchased at the pet store. Taking care of them includes playing with them, feeding them, taking them out to the bathroom, and making sure they are receiving enough exercise and attention. Playing with the dogs include playing fetch with them, running around the yard with them, running at various points during our walks, and other activities that they have fun doing. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies, as well as dogs of all backgrounds (rescue versus bought at the pet store), dogs of all sizes, and dogs of different temperaments (my pitbull is hyper at home but super calm on walks so playing at home is more effective; the lab I watch is hyper on walks and at home so he needs a lot of exercise and play-time; the pomeranian/chihuahua mix is afraid of many things such as bikes and other dogs so he is usually high-strung on walks.)
