Pet care experience
I also have a knack for animals warming up to me! On multiple occasions I've had owners tell me that their dog/cat doesn't even like their friends much and are surprised when they cuddle up on the couch with me! I've been a Rover sitter since 2019 and I've met a wide variety of dogs ranging from disabled with special needs, elderly, and puppies who aren't potty trained yet. I've sat dogs who are blind, diabetic cats, and incontinent dogs. I've seen a lot and have yet to be deterred.
Reviews
Sarah was awesome from the start. I had never been away from my boys overnight before, and I was very nervous about it. After meeting Sarah at the meet and greet, I felt very reassured that she would take great care of my boys. She was easy to reach when I checked in, and she also sent twice daily updates/pics. When I got home, both kitties were fine. I honestly think they enjoyed their time with her. I would recommend Sarah to anyone
Sarah did an excellent job taking care of our pup who has some complicated health stuff at the moment! Would recommend to anyone!
Sarah was super professional, respectful and great with my dog. She gave him his meds and made sure he was well taken care of while I was gone. It was great to know that he was in good hands while I was traveling and I appreciated the text updates!
Sarah is excellent!

I strive to provide the same level of care that your pets are used to getting from you. I find that this is best especially for pets that experience separation anxiety. I require meet and greets before confirming any booking request from a new client so that we can meet each other and also go over daily routines and any special care info. It truly means a lot to me when I get feedback from clients that they felt comfortable with me staying in their home or that they noticed how comfortable their pet was with me.
Information Sarah P. would like to know about your pet
Please be upfront with me about any medical or special needs your pet my have. I am fortunate that because I work remotely my job is flexible about where I work from, but some days are busier than others so I'd prefer communication about your pet(s) needs and we can figure out together if I would be a suitable sitter for you. You deserve the best sitter possible and I will never accept a new client that I am not sure I can provide the best care for.
A typical day
I'm more than happy to accommodate whatever sort of daily routine you have for you dog! I've sat dogs who need 3-4 one hour walks a day, and I've also sat disabled pups who are indoor potty trained and don't go for walks at all. I find that sticking to the routine the dog is used to is the best way to fight off any anxiety they might have while their owners are away. I also love dogs that cuddle and I totally don't mind sharing the bed.

I'm currently working full time remotely (3am-11:30am Tues-Sat), and I'm not able to have a pet in my current apartment. Pet sitting is a great way for me to break up my routine and get out of the house!
