Ive been involved with pet care for 10 years. Whether that’s doggy day care, dog walking, grooming assistance, overnight boarding, administering medications, and managing a pet store. I’ve dealt with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have volunteered for animal shelters/rescues since I was a preteen. I’ve always known that I want my career to be with dogs. I work full time for a local coffee shop right by my house. I’m the main opener so I go in at 5:30am and I am out by or before 2pm M-F and every other Saturday. I always have 2 days off a week. Either Saturday and Sunday or during the work week and a Sunday. I’m very flexible but a set schedule would be fine with me too. I don’t really ever go out of town or on vacation (or at least in the last year) so my availability is pretty open. I live with my own dog and am currently fostering a dog we also have 3 cats with my dad and sister. We do have a fenced in yard but what I do with my own dogs is we do a lot of outdoor recreational activities. I take my dogs hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, dog parks, and try and give them as much fulfillment as possible. I’m also a amateur pet photographer and love taking my go pro and DSLR on our adventures. My dogs are very dog And people children friendly. Lyla my golden retriever is known for making nervous or reactive dogs feel calm and would let anyone pet her for hours. My foster is newer addition and a big cuddle bug who’s just figuring out how to be a dog and is a very sweet boy.
