Hi! I have been raised with the love for all animals. I’ve had cats, dogs, even pigs, horses, and lizards growing up. My mom couldn’t say no to any animal and I’m from a small country town outside of Memphis, TN. Haha. I recently adopted my first puppy that is considered my own and not a family dog. Her name is Stormie and she was born 6/2020. I rescued her in December. She is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. She loves other dogs and people. She is still a little hesitant initially when meeting but she warms up well. My apartment is dog friendly with a fenced in dog park and nice open side yard to play and get all the fresh air and exercise that is needed! I just got accepted into nursing school with quite a bit of flexibility in these early years and I am in need of furry companion but without the full-time responsibilities of owning one. I live within walking distance to the National Mall, which is a nice walk and area for when I’m not studying. I do have a part-time job, mostly evenings and weekends only. If your animal loves cuddles, I am an expert. If you do not allow your animal on furniture or beds, please let me know, because they are welcome when they are at my apartment and I would not want to start a habit.
