As a dog and cat owner my entire life, I feel comfortable around all type of dogs and cats. For the past 5 years, I have owned and trained a dog with a fear of strangers and lack of some doggy social skills. She pushes me every day to continue to understand the doggy language and help her, and others like her, understand and be comfortable in this human world. My years as a shelter volunteer and foster parents build upon my years of experience in training and dealing with all sorts of behavioral issues. I have cared for blind dogs, deaf cats, and a dog recovering from extensive back surgery. Whatever your animal needs, please let me know! Some dogs (and most cats) consider themselves better off on their own, while some love to have attention at all times. I am flexible with these personalities and everywhere in between. I have 5 years of extensive dog training experience, focused mainly on aggression and behavior modification. I also have 1.5 years of puppy and obedience training experience. I enjoy slow walks around the block or fast runs along the beach, whichever your animal needs. As a Registered Nurse, I am comfortable administering medicine and changing bandages.
