Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs and all sorts of other animals. I don't think there is a better stress relief than throwing a ball for an hour or going on a leisurely walk with a precious pooch. Since I can't have dogs in my apartment, I figured pet-sitting was the next best thing! I have been with Rover for over two years. I am a new transplant to Salem and work on the school schedule. I'd love to spend my free time during summer break loving on your critters. Let me know if there is any training I can help keep consistent during my stay with them. Please note: 1. I only book non-smoking homes. 2. I watch cats at no additional charge if they come with a dog

Always a great sitter! We live Sarah!
Sarah was a delight to work with. She won over our timid pup, cared for our aging and slightly demented cats, and left our house tidy! Sarah is also a great communicator so we were able to travel out of the country with reassurance that all was well at home.
Once again, Sarah provided us with peace of mind while we were gone. She gives updates and pictures throughout sand leaves the house in great condition.
The dogs were well-cared for, medicine given, the house looked fine, Sarah communicates often and as-needed, including photos of the pups. She is delightful.

I prefer to not work with aggressive animals or animals that experience separation anxiety. I adore big dogs, but I do have to decline to watch big dogs that pull on walks. I want to make the stay safe for your pup, and a large dog with a sense of independence could get away from me by accident. Some of my favorite breeds/mixes I've cared for in the past include Heelers, Poodles, Beagles, Retrievers, and Hounds! I am always willing to meet a new mix and fall in love!
A typical day
Couch potatoes can expect lots of pets and cuddles. The more adventurous pups can expect walks (what's good for them is good for me!), preferred games, and lots of attention
