I have been a dog owner my entire life. I am a proud owner of an Old English Sheepdog named Molly and a Aussie mutt named Bella. Molly is 13 years old and we have spent the first 12 years of her life, in New York City. Molly is very very well adjusted and likes to play with all dogs but will leave them alone if they so desire. She doesn't even mind if other dogs eat her food or take her bone. She's a very laid back girl. Bella is a somewhat rambunctious puppy and love to play with other dogs. She is almost 2 yrs old and she keeps me very active and LOVES people - especially kids. Bella gets along great with other dogs but not with cats and farm animals. She scares them. Bella is extremely cuddly and loves to sleep in the bed. Molly sleeps on the floor where it's cool. We love company and welcome other pups anytime! About this sitter: I live and work in Manhattan. I have had the same friend walk Molly for 10 years. If I am out during the day for work, he would walk your dog when he walks Molly and Bella. I am experienced in medicating, feeding, bathing and walking dogs. I go up to the Catskills every weekend and would love to take your dog on hikes upstate if you would like for her to join us. On leash or off- your choice. My property is completely secluded on top of a little hill in the Catskills. There are NO cars around at all. I also love to take dogs to Central Park in the mornings before work and on weekends About my outdoor space: In the city, I have a large patio with a privacy fence all the way around. It is a decent size for an urban area with plenty of room for even the largest dog to lounge outside with the plants and get some fresh air. I only accept dogs in my home that are social with other dogs because I have Molly who is older . I love all breeds of dogs and have watched dogs weighing from 3 pounds and up. I consider myself a weekend dog care expert.

Sarah Melissa was absolutely phenomenal! Her love of dogs is overwhelming and was apparent the instant we met her. Milo fell in love right away and I could tell it was mutual. We received pictures and updates all throughout Milo's stay and it was obvious just how much fun he was having. I would recommend Sarah Melissa in a heartbeat. Milo will definitely be back. He won't stop raving about her!
Sarah was fanatic! She loved Lula and treated her like one of her own! Constant updates and pictures! I would definitly recommend her!

We wake up early and go straight outside after a quick trip to the water bowl. Molly and usually walk around the block. I live on a clean tree lined street on 81st and 2nd. I would bring Molly back and then head to central park with your pooch for some on leash running and playing. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: If she/he likes to cuddle, they can sleep in my bed with me. Molly did before she got too old to get up. I suggest to owners that they bring a bed so their pup has something familiar with them in case they prefer to use their own bed. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from 8-5 but have a walker 3 times a day. Chris would walk your dog with Molly and I would walk them when I get home from work. I leave the patio open all day so they can go out for fresh air if needed. On weekends, I would spend the entire Saturday and Sunday with your dog either at the park or upstate if I'm in the country. I would never leave your dog alone for more than 2 hours. As far as walks go: I adjust to each individual dogs schedule. My walker and I believe that all dogs should go to the bathroom every four hours at least. I make sure that Molly gets at least 5 walks a day. I'm very active and like waling so this isn't a damper on my lifestyle at all. I want to be around dogs. Dogs help me to stay in the moment and appreciate the simple things life has to offer. I am extremely loving and affectionate with dogs and love them.
