Pet care experience
I work from home and am available to give your pet the love, care and attention they deserve! I was a Star Sitter in my old town before moving to St. Boni (we're so happy to be here!) and am ready to aid my new neighbors with their furry family members. Please note that while we are taking the time to get adjusted in our new home, my in-home day care will be restricted. Please feel free to reach out to me but also please keep that in mind if I'm unable to accept at the time. Most of my availability will favor drop-ins / dog walking for the time being. A little history about me: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when my mother signed our family up as part of the Minnesota/Wisconsin Collie Rescue program. Ever since, we've been taking in dogs (mostly collies) who are surrendered, found lost, puppies with training needs and at end of life. I've since been taking care of my two boys, a Manx cat and Black Lab dog, who passed in Fall of 2022. My dog spent the last few years of his life losing mobility so I'm very comfortable with Senior dogs and happy to go the extra mile to make them feel loved and comfortable. Prior to working with Rover, I did senior care for a neighbors dog who was diabetic and required daily injections and special feeding. Puppies will need to be potty trained before accepting boarding in my home.

Sarah saved the day when we urgently needed a sitter due to one of our dogs getting sick and not being able to go to puppy camp. She went above and beyond for our pups Fizz and Grit and provided photos and an update after each visit. I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter!
Leo was very happy to see Sarah when I dropped him off. She sent a nice photo every day and also sent a cute video. My dog is always happy to see her. She takes good care of him.
Sarah was amazing!! One of our dogs got sick while we were away and Sarah provided great detail which was much needed for our vet visit. She was on time, sent pics and cared for our pups like they were her own. Will definitely hire again!!
Sarah did last minute drop-in visits for my pup Duckie and I could t be happier with her service! She took her for a nice walk and played with her and I truly appreciate the care she gave my pup.

Both my front and backyard are unfenced. Leads are attached at both yards and I work very close to the doorway that leads to the backyard so they will be supervised always. We have beds and toys for your dog. We only ask that your pet be friendly with others as we have a cat of our own.

While I'm comfortable with injection and oral medication delivery, I request either detailed written instruction or (more preferably) a meet and greet where we can go over the specifics. Your dog is also required to be friendly (or indifferent) to cats as we have one of our own who will stand their ground.
A typical day
Mornings will start with a quick walk before settling into the work day. They'll have easy access to the backyard (on a lead) for potty breaks or to stay out if that is their preference. After work hours, we'll go on a longer walk on the nearby trails to get out the energy from the day before cozying up in the evenings.

Availability
I work from home so I'm available during the week and most weekends. My office has plenty of space for a dog bed and quick access to the backyard for zoomies or potty breaks. Your dog will be guaranteed a minimum of one walk a day (weather permitting).
