I work from home so I’m pretty flexible especially with just day-visits. I do travel a fair amount so that may limit some of my availability but I’ll try to keep my calendar up to date.

I have a fenced in back yard that I’ve thoroughly checked for any gaps. Please let me know if your dog likes to dig though! I’ve always had dogs who were “runners” so I’m very careful to make sure they’re not able to get out the front door. I don’t have a doggie door to my back yard so I’ll monitor the dog going in and out carefully, please only house-trained dogs. I do have stairs so it may be hard for me to care for big dogs with arthritis. Right near my house there’s a huge open space where we can walk and enjoy the outdoors together :)

Let me know if your dog is an escape artist, their level of dog reactivity, and if they have any special needs. Dogs must be house trained because I have mostly carpet but they’ll be allowed out often!
A typical day
Morning and evening walks in the open space near my house. Plenty of opportunities to go outside into the yard during the day. Dogs will enjoy access to most of my house, some toys, some treats and lots of love!

Pet care experience
I fostered 25 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes and can adapt quickly so different doggie personalities. I also worked at a large animal shelter and have owned dogs throughout my childhood. I have no dogs or pets of my own right now but I aspire to have one within a year! In the meantime, I’ll love your dog(s) in the short time they’re with me and we’ll have tons of fun!
