Pet care experience
I have owned a dog daycare/boarding facility, been a veterinary assistant/tech, groomed dogs, managed kennels, dog training and have worked with some of the most respected vets in Colorado. I feed as instructed and can medicated the most difficult dogs. I am very responsible and reliable, I love all dogs from your little chihuahua to lovable labs. And am very comfortable with timid or fearful dogs as well, I have worked with many behaviorally shy dogs and have formed bonds with all of them. Dogs staying at my house MUST BE CRATE TRAINED (means goes into crates on there own and can remain calm in a kennel).....as I do crate when I leave occassionally to take care of clients outside of the home and when I work my full time job outside the home Mon-Fri. Dogs that do best in my home are calm with low to medium energy and must get along with my cat who is very use to dogs. Also all dogs in my home must get along with all sizes of dogs, as I have 2 very small pomeranians. A 15 min meet and greet at a dog park is required before a new dogs stays at my house for the first time, so please let me know a day and time that works for you. Also, PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR DOGS PROFILE OR I WILL NOT ENTERTAIN A STAY AT MY HOUSE. Thank you in advance....

Is your pup dog friendly with all sizes of dogs? Is your pup people friendly? Is your dog crate trained? Is your pup current on vaccinations? I do not breed discriminate....as long as they get along with all dogs and are human friendly.
A typical day
My home is low key which is why I ask for only low to medium energy dogs. I like dogs to feel 100% comforable in my home without stress or anxiousness. I usually let all the dogs in my home outside before work mon-fri and feed everybody, give some playtime and then go to work, when I get home I let everybody outside and give playtime before feeding everybody dinner, we go to bed around 9pm. Weekends and holidays I am home all the time so schedule is more flexible and I am able to spend more time with everybody. Dogs MUST be crated trained to stay at my house. Meaning they must be use to being in a crate at home, I do not let any dog stay out in my home when I am gone for the safety of all dogs in my care.

I do work full time at a medical billing office but only work 1/2 days on Thursdays and Fridays and have weekends and all holidays off. Dogs play most all day outside to tire them for bedtime. I usually feed dogs twice a day but will do whatever schedule your pup has.
