Pet care experience
I am a compassionate animal caretaker with five years of experience providing in-home care to dogs, cats, rats, and other animals. Animals have always been the highlight of my day and I love learning about the biology, psychology, and general needs of our furry companions. In the past, I have fostered rats for Mainley Rat Rescue and volunteered at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS). I have two cats, Kaleo & Aurora, and a chihuahua-dachshund mix, Oliver. We adopted Oliver in May, and I have been enjoying learning more about dog training through him. I have clicker trained my cats to sit, come, spin around, and walk outside with a harness; but every animal is different and I love watching them learn and bonding with them through training. I have great attention to detail, respect every dogs individual personalities, and put 110% into any job I have. I have my own car and can keep up with even the most athletic dogs, although I have a soft spot for senior pups. Thank you for your consideration!

Sarah is absolutely AMAZING! We had never left our dog alone while on a trip and were extremely nervous. Sarah put us completely at ease and treated our fur baby like her very own. The detailed updates and pictures every day let us know our boy was being well taken care of and was happy. Sarah even went above and beyond and took our trash out while we were gone. Sarah truly has a gift with animals and anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. She provided them plenty of love and attention. We got great communication and pictures about how they were doing. We were able to have a nice trip with peace of mind that our pups were getting the care they needed.

I always take a lot of pictures and try to leave the home cleaner than I found it. I know if I was away I would want so many pictures of my babies! I take my time making sure lights are turned off, doors are locked, and pets are happy before I head out.

A typical day
I have lived in Georgetown for a year now, and enjoy walking around Blue Hole Park and San Gabriel Park. I always have treats with me and enjoy bringing dogs to gated areas to play fetch. I like to change up my walking route with dogs to keep things fun and interesting. Car rides are always fun as well!

Availability
I currently work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm so I am only available for early morning, evening, and weekend visits. I also have most holidays off work so I am free for pet care during holidays as well.
