Pet care experience
I am a college student who loves dogs and is looking to earn a bit of extra cash. I found Rover through social media, and decided it would be a good fit for me because I cannot have a traditional job. I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, and treatments make it hard to work a typical job. This is perfect to help with bills, but also to keep up my activity level and health! Riverbend Park is a go-to for my own dog and our furry visitors (more details in my profile)! I have also amaturely trained puppies and dogs. I can teach anything from basic commands to agility tricks. Being a college student, I am available during the work day, weekends, and even late at night! I have a 2 year old coonhound boxer mix, named Lucy, who will be a fun and friendly playmate for your fur-child.

A typical day
Riverbend Park has trails, the reservoir, and a wonderful dog park that is an acre large! Many people are scared when they hear “dog park” but in my 3 years regularly visiting with my own dog, issues arise from inexperienced/unaware owners. Knowing when to remove a dog is the key to the best visit, and I have a great deal of experience in reading dogs’ body language. They have a wonderful 2-mile loop that is great for dogs who love to sniff. I frequent the reservoir, which is a great place for dogs to run and swim! The University of Findlay is right next door and provides great exercise opportunities, and some extra love from students who love to love pups!
