All my dogs have loved and still do love it when Sarah comes by. She walks in, they go crazy, she loves them, pets them, plays with them and will always take them for a walk if that's what they wanted, Sarah is as kind and caring with dogs as she is with people. Sarah neglects no one, I trust her with my life and my dogs life.
Sarah is fantastic with my pup. I have a high-energy (and very strong) pit mix and Sarah stayed with and cared for her perfectly. She sent photos, played with her, and took her for walks. She is a genuine lover of all animals and I trust her completely.
I love to run and play with dogs!
I have loved dogs ever since I was a child. We were not allowed to have a dog in our house, so I had to show that love to the pets that my aunts and my grandma had. One of the favorite photographs we have is of me sitting on the floor giving Grandma's cocker spaniel treats. When my aunt got her first dog Annie (a collie mix), I helped her feed, walk, and bathe ...
What Sarah would like to know about your dog
I would like to know if your dog has any nervous habits that might need attention. How can I help your dog stay calm in these situations?
I would like to know what your dog's daily schedule looks like if I am house sitting. When does your dog get up to go out? When do they have meals? When does your dog usually go for a walk? Does your dog need time to wind down before sleeping?
I would like to know the expectations you have for your dog's behavior. Is the dog allowed on the furniture? Do you usually wipe your dog's paws when they come in to the house? What commands and hand signals do you use to communicate with your dog? What is the feeding procedure? When do you award treats? What are the expectations when your dog is on a walk?
I would like to know expectations for when your dog is left at home. Does the dog go in a crate? Do they have a special toy or treat that you leave them with?
