Hello, my name is Sarah, and I can’t wait to get to know you and your fur baby! Since I was a child growing up on a farm, I have loved animals, being around them and getting to know their unique personalities. I have been a pet owner since I was a child and I volunteered at the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter when I lived in the Bay Area. Currently, my fur baby is a rescued Yorkie Poodle mix, but I have worked with a variety of sizes and types of dogs. I am also a huge cat lover, their playful antics are adorable, and I find they can be intensely smart. I am currently working on earning my bachelor’s degree and pet walking provides me the flexibility and job satisfaction I need to achieve this goal. I love exploring and being outdoors and what better way than with a furry friend? However, it is important to me to go at your pet’s pace and comfort level. I understand some dogs need to go slower or perhaps are more introverted and less social than others. With your help to learn the personality of your pet, likes and dislikes I can then tailor our interactions to include, a walk or run around the neighborhood, a trip to the local dog park, hiking a nearby trail or fun play session in your home/yard.
