Hello, I'm Sarah! I cannot wait to spoil and pamper your dog. I am a freelance writer and stay-at-home mom to two dog-loving children. I grew up with family dogs and cannot remember a time when I didn’t have a canine best friend! For me, the combo of loyalty, soft fur, and puppy dog eyes are enough to do me in, and lucky dogs that stay with me, my son Will, and my daughter Eliza will be treated like a part of the family. They will receive a warm welcome, lots of attention, and of course plenty of playtime in our spacious yard and at the local parks! We even live near trails in the woods and a beachside dog park, and your dog will get plenty of love and fresh air! We do have one female cat (Jordan) who is cool with dogs that are cool with her. Mostly when your dog comes to stay, she hangs by herself under someone's bed! We also have a three-year-old lab mix, Nikki, who gets along great with other dogs - especially older ones. Home full time, I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. Our home is in a spacious, older neighborhood that is close to a beach and has plenty of safe places to walk. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet, with lots of open grassy areas. My yard is a great place to explore and have potty time and there is lots of grass for your pup to enjoy! Why I love dog sitting I don't remember not having a dog. Our first family black lab was named Prudy, and she lived to be thirteen years old. I remember coming home from school, sad about a friend or a teacher or otherwise upset, and just cuddling with Prudy on the floor, crying to her and whispering in her ear. She loved me so much, followed me everywhere. Whether a good day, so-so, or really bad, your dog is always there for you. About my yard My yard is fully fenced, grassy, and spacious. There is a deck just off of the dining room, and a cement patio as well. We have shade trees and plenty of space to play and have fun! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications, but at this time I prefer not to administer injections.
