Sarah was so friendly and professional and sent lots of updates and pictures while she was checking in on my little dog. I would definitely use her again! Thanks Sarah!

Sarah was great. Little Nikki is a calm dog but doesn't love leaving mom and dad but she was completely at ease with Sarah. The consistent and welcomed photos of Nikki while I was away let me see how at ease Nikki was which let me be at ease knowing my little girl was in capable hands. No doubt I would book again.

Sarah and her family are fantastic. She responds quickly and competently about arrangements to board. We knew immediately she had everything covered. Best boarding experience I have had in 20 years of pet ownership.

Hello! My name is Sarah and I live in the Edmonds area. I've got years of experience with and love for dogs. I currently own two Australian Cattle Dogs, a breed known for their tenacity, stubbornness, fearless attitude, and constant need for a job. I previously had two senior Jack Russell Terriors, another high energy working breed. My family has had German Shephards as well. So I am familiar with dogs of all shapes, sizes ...

What Sarah would like to know about your dog

Your dog will be around my dogs to aid in the enjoyable pack experience and training so if there's anything that needs to be addressed, let me know ahead of time so I can provide the most positive experience for you and your dog(s)!
Examples of this include:
Dog aggression (any aggression towards other dogs in any form)
Resource guarding (becomes aggressive over toys, treats, or food)
Spacial defensiveness (doesn't like another dog to get too close)
***
I also need to know if your dog has mild to severe separation anxiety as this can cause high stress in your dog and lead to destructive behaviors like:
Ripping out my carpet
Shredding my personal items
Chewing
Constant howling, whining, barking (I live in a condo and excessive noise is unfortunately not an option)
If your dog has extreme separation anxiety I may not accept their visit as it causes destruction to my home and personal items as well as excessive noise.
***
I do not accept dogs who have not been neutered as they "mark their territory" all over my condo and I also do not accept extremely dominate dogs for the same reason.
***
PLEASE NOTE: (If your dog is boarding or doing doggie daycare in my home)
Your dog MUST be house trained, be on a current flea and tick preventative, and up to date on ALL vaccines.
Please provide food for the duration of their stay (enough for three extra days past their scheduled stay in case of an emergency).
Please provide a collar, leash, treats, a favorite toy, and a chewing item (rawhide, bully stick and so on).
Please provide proof of flea and tick prevention (my dogs are on flea and tick prevention and I am happy to provide proof of this).
I do not accept dogs with any sort of communicable sickness (such as kennel cough, parvo, or dog flu).
I do not accept males who have not been neutered.

When Sarah watches your pet

I have several parks in my area such as the Edmonds Dog Beach, Esperian Park, South Lynnwood Park, Pine Ridge Park, Yost Park, and several others. All are dog friendly! Many of these parks provide opportunities for obedience training and agility work which, if you choose, I'll include in your dog's walk!
