Pet care experience
I am a young professional RN, married 10 years to my husband Josh and a step-mother to his terrific 19 year old son, who is away at school most of the year. We adore our 2 rescue pups: Pippen, a 10 yr old Beagle/Dachshund mix and Sienna, an 11 yr old Shepard mix. We have been the "go to" dog sitters for many of our friends & family over the years and our dogs love when we have guests for them to play with! I'm a nurse who is an avid animal lover first and foremost. We love taking our pups for walks and to the dog park in Hinsdale. We have a large, fenced backyard and a deck that our dogs enjoys sunning themselves on in the nice weather. :-) We truly love animals, especially dogs, and treat them with the same love and adoration we give our own....we would want the same if Pippen & Sienna were to stay somewhere. I'm currently working per-Diem as a clinical educator and have the extra time to devote providing care and love to other people's animals when they can't. I have a very large fenced yard that the dogs have free reign of. There is a deck for them to lay on and plenty of shade as well as a sun porch adjacent to the deck should they want to escape the weather.

Sarah and Joshua are remarkable! We've had a variety of sitters from Rover in the past, but Sarah and Joshua exceeded our expectations! They gave us comfort and confidence in their ability to care for our three girls - and that was just from the Meet and Greet. It was the texts and photos they provided us during their stay that confirmed they had been adopted into our pack. We highly recommend and look forward to having Sarah and Joshua care for our girls the next time we're away.
I highly recommend Sarah and Joshua for your dog care needs! My wife and I have 3 dogs who are not always the easiest kids to deal with - one is special needs and requires being handled a certain way to protect her back, another is extremely protective and the third is very skittish. But, Sarah and Joshua did as many meet-n-greets as necessary before all 3 dogs became comfortable with them. That's dedication! When Sarah and Joshua began their drop-in visits when my wife and I were at work, the dogs were obedient and happy to see their new friends. Sarah and Joshua sent pictures of their visits, and the dogs looked happy, calm and well-cared for. You, and especially your dog(s), will be happy, too, that you hired Sarah and Joshua!
I have known Sarah for over 18 years. She is engaging, kind, and trustworthy - especially with animals. She has watched my beagle, George. And he loved it! He is an ornery older fella and Sarah and her two pups got along swimmingly with him. I have seen over the years that she really has a special connection with my dog, her own dogs, and friends' dogs. I have, would, and will most certainly use Sarah for George in the future. Please know if you hire Sarah that your dog will be in safe and great hands with her.
