I've been working with dogs full-time for the last 3 years. I've loved all animals my whole life, though. I was lucky enough to be trained as a dog groomer, but after 2 years of that, I needed something else. I now work at a vet clinic full time as a receptionist, and am working towards becoming a vet tech. I love being around dogs - it's the best way to spend my day. Throughout my time as a groomer, I learned how to recognize dog signals - from "I love you!" to "stay away from me" and everything in between. I know how to physically handle dogs of all sizes. I enjoy one-on-one time, and believe the dogs do too! I have 2 dogs of my own: a 70 pound shepherd mix and a 4 pound special needs chihuahua. I care for them in every way I can, and they care for me as well.
