I have owned pets my entire life and have always had a passion for their care! I have one dog and three cats and have been pet-sitting for as long as I can remember. I'm a fourth year legal studies and philosophy major at UC Santa Cruz and miss my pets dearly when I'm away, but I hope I can find some new friends to spend time with! I am very attentive and detail-oriented. When I am caring for animals they are my #1 priority and I value their safety more than anything. I do not take pet care lightly and yours will be in great hands. I am a very active person so being able to be outside while working is ideal for me and incorporates much of my skill set. Caring for and spending time with animals is one of my favorite things to do in this world and I look forward to meeting as many Santa Cruz pets that I can!

I would like to know if your dog has any special preferences or behavioral traits I should be aware of. I would also like to know how comfortable your animal is around other people, pets, and how they like to be engaged with. It is also important to know what their favorite toys/activities are, if there’s any training I should be aware of, and really anything unique or special about your animal.
A typical day
I am an active person so I love going on walks, runs, hikes, or whatever activity your dog is comfortable with. I normally decide where I take animals based on their level of socialization or reactivity, but I always ask the owner what their preference is! I love physically and mentally stimulating activities such as fetch, tug-o-war, and just playing with toys in general.

Availability
I work part-time and go to school so my schedule can be very flexible. It is very convenient for me to pop in for a walk or a visit since my classes have gaps in between and my work hours are minimal. I have a reliable car so transportation is never an issue or deterrent.
