Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats all my life and I'm currently a proud mother of a GSD and Calico! I love cats and dogs of any size and enjoy walking/running with my dog. I understand that all animals have their own unique personalities and quirks, but every animal needs time and patience to gain trust.
Reviews
Sarah was great with our dogs and cats! We never had to worry about them, they always looked so happy in the photos she sent us.
Sarah has taken great care of our family cats over the years. Now, she is cat sitting my son's cat, Luna. She is responsible, on-time, friendly, and knowledgeable about taking care of pets. I'm sure she would do great taking care of any animal in any situation.
Sarah is a reliable pet lover who is easy to communicate with! She is punctual and respectful and have my animals a great workout! They’re looking more muscular already

Safety, trust & environment
No matter what service I am hired for, I will respect the homes of the owners. I will do that by adhering to the boundaries set by the owners, clean up after myself, and respect the animals space. I will follow the guidelines and instructions the owners give me to care for the pet, as well as treat them as if they were my own. If I have a question or concern, I will not hesitate to contact the owner.

Information Sarah H. would like to know about your pet
I am going to take this prompt and flip it for the pets I will be boarding. I have one female GSD. She has been socialized since puppy hood. She is open and loves meeting new dogs, although she is shy at first, she warms up easily (or she’ll just ignore the other dog). I also have a cat, she is skiddish and will hide in her own room. My house is divided into two sections by gate, one side is the cats and the other the dogs. They do intermingle but chaperoned because they love causing trouble! If your dog stays in my humble abode, they will likely stay in the dog section (living/dining/master bed). If for some odd reason Akira (GSD) and your dog do not get along or are uneasy around each other, Akira will stay in the cat section. I have a small-medium sized yard that Akira loves to play and potty in… I would be able to let your dog out for frequent potty breaks. There is also a huge Tacoma Metro Park 3 blocks away I would be able to walk your dog and play with. Feel free to ask me more about my home!
A typical day
I love going on long walks or runs, around my neighborhood. I don’t mind taking a dog on a hike if that’s what the dog is used to doing. I take my dog on “smell” walks, where the dogs nose leads the way, excellent stimulation for the dog! I go to Wapato open leash park for my dog, will not go to an off leash park without permission for an owner.

I am currently hybrid worker, I work from home most of the week and go into work about once a week (Wednesdays). If needed and with permission, I can WFH in clients home. Depending on how far the owner lives, I can make pretty frequent check ins. I am available to sit whole days, evenings, and nights.
