- Scotia is a 1 year, 5 mo. old Great Pyrenees in Washington, DC
Scotia is a sweet, curious fluffball. She is a Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix that mostly likes to take naps, cuddle with her kong and some peanut butter, and stand next to anyone and everyone she's ever met for repeated petting. When she goes to dog parks or on walks, she mostly tries to slowly wander over to other humans in order to get pet, but is also friendly with all dogs she has met so far (on and off leash).

Scotia has been recently adopted from a shelter and we are unsure if she's been in homes beforehand. Her demeanor in homes so far has been calm, sweet, and slow. She is potty trained in the house and mostly likes to curl up in her crate or seek us out for pets. She doesn't get on furniture yet (mostly because she's still kind of shy). We're still working on polishing up her training to sit, stay, and come here etc
- Gets along with children: Yes
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
- Gets along with cats: Unknown
Not sure! We've never seen her with a cat
Since she is still learning her name and recall, we currently do not let Scotia off the leash in unfenced in areas. She's a pretty chill girl who mostly likes to wander and roam dog parks (like a classic Pyrenees) rather than a potential 'runner', but we keep her on the leash just to be safe.
