Pet care experience
Hi I’m Sarah! I’m a recent graduate of Ithaca College and decided to stick around. I grew up with a rescue pup and adopted a senior dog Buddy last year who has quickly become a well known Ithaca local! I am trained to work with dogs for the local Guiding Eyes for the Blind chapter and helped raise one last year. I have a few years of experience walking dogs with other app services as well. I also live right near some great walking/hiking trails and would love to have a great excuse like a dog to use them more often! I do have two roommates and they are also animal lovers so your pup is sure to feel the love. Let me know if you have any questions and I hope to work with you soon!

Sarah is responsible and dependable and it is clear she loves dogs! I watched her raise a guiding eyes dog for the blind and she is skilled at training dogs I am providing them a warm and caring environment.
I've known Sarah for 4 years, and she is reliable, attentive, and caring. While she was balancing the busy life of a college student, she also took care of service dogs in training while their owners were away! She was always very attentive to the dogs' needs, showered the dogs with love, and most importantly always on time. She would make an excellent dog caregiver.
"Responsible" and "loving dog caretaker" are just two of the many words that could best epitomize Sarah's existence. In the five years we've known each other, I've seen her volunteer time to care, train, and show compassion to service dogs, friend's dogs, and stranger's dogs. I've never met a dog Sarah didn't love, or a dog that didn't love Sarah.
Not only is Sarah one of the most enthusiastic dog lovers I've ever met, she is also one of the best dog trainers I've ever met. I've watched her look after dogs that we're being trained as seeing eye dogs for years, and she handles them with love and professional level care. Sarah is the kind of dog sitter that doesn't just want to look after a dog for the job, she wants to do it because she genuinely loves dogs and will give every dog the utmost appreciation and care.
