If you’re needing pet care, I’m here to help with drop in visits, walks, or boarding in my own home! I am a full time middle school teacher during the school year, so evenings and weekends work best for drop ins and walks. But for holidays and summer breaks, I have more open weekday availability and flexible daytime hours. For boarding, my husband is at home during the day, and one or both of us will be home during the evening.

Pet care experience
I am a Rover Star Sitter that has completed over 120 bookings to earn my 5-star rating. I’m always ready to help new clients for pet care in McHenry and surrounding areas, and I have holiday availability! For visits and walks, I have flexible weekday evening and weekend all day availability during the school year. For boarding, my husband and I team up to make sure your pet is well cared for in our home throughout all parts of the day. I’ve loved animals all my life. I grew up with a small shih tzu rescue and then later trained our family’s cockapoo puppy. Throughout high school I helped walk dogs and house sit animals for neighbors and friends. In college I became more experienced with puppy training as I trained 3 puppies for a family I babysat and house sat for their two cats often. Now, I help with dogs and cats regularly between my family and friends, and I’m looking to help more furry friends and people in my area.

Sarah was wonderful - this was our first experience using Rover and I was pleasantly surprised! She answers very quickly and is super flexible - we met with her a week prior, had her over to meet the cats and us, and walked her through their care routine. Her report cards after each visits were super detailed, she took pictures of the clean litter boxes and full bowls of food to let us know that our babies were taken care of. Super grateful for our awesome experience. We’ll definitely be using Sarah again.
