Pet care experience
I'm a young professional and pet sitting on the side for extra cash. I love dogs (and other pets) and grew up with a Norwegian Elkhound and several Labs. I also have lots of experience sitting for cats. I'm willing to sit in DC (metro accessible). I'm experienced in dealing with high energy dogs who need long walks or time running at the dog park (endless fetch!). But I also love smaller dogs and couch potatoes. For cats, I will give them as much attention as they need or want. I have given oral and topical meds to dogs and cats.

Sarah was great!! When I came back, everything was in order in the apartment and I could tell Newman was well taken care of! The litter box was clean, used cans were rinsed and placed in the recycling bin, and Newman’s dry food and water bowls were full. She followed my instructions and texted me as needed throughout the time I was away. I will definitely call on Sarah again for cat sitting. I highly recommend her!

I want to know your expectations about timing for visits/ or when you plan on leaving and returning. Does your pet have any meds or behavioral concerns? I don't have any breed preferences or restrictions, we'll just have to figure out if the pet is comfortable with me and vice versa.
A typical day
For dogs: walks, fetch, dog parks, cuddles and lots of pets. For cats a day could include playtime, cuddles or being left alone (up to the cat!)

I'm teleworking about half time at present so could hang out with pets during the day some days if you have a workspace and internet. I would be in and out during overnight stays depending on work and other appointments.
