Pet care experience
I've cared for several species of small (under 75 pounds) animals in the last 10 years. I have four cats of my own and am the go-to pet-sitter among my friend group for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even plants. I pride myself on being able to give even the most unwilling pet a good, thorough bath with no trauma or injury to the animal or myself. I have also cared for special needs animals so administering pills and other medications comes easily to me. I work at a local rescue facility where I am expected to get to know new animals quickly and monitor their behavior. I love building special connections with the animals in my life and find that I usually know what will make them happy once I get to know them. I hope I can share that with your pet too!

Sarah was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover, and she made it worthwhile and made me feel much better about leaving my cat for a few days while my husband and I were out of town. She even went out of her way a few days before we left to come meet me and Rayla just so I could be sure Rayla would be comfortable. I’d highly recommend using Sarah and I will definitely use her again in the future!
Sarah has owned pets all her life, and currently owns 4 cats. She often is asked to cat/dog-sit by our friends and family, and incredibly reliable and accountable. She always puts the pets’ interests as a top priority.
Sarah is fantastic with animals! I've known her since we were kids, and she's always had a big heart and a soft spot for dogs (and cats). She's capable and confident in her abilities, as well she should be. I would never be concerned about introducing a new animal to her because I know she would treat them with respect and love. 10/10 would hire to walk my dog :)

I love all shapes and sizes of dogs. I need to know the energy level to prepare for and any special health concerns. I would also prefer to know which vet I might need to call in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I love long walks and almost everywhere in Huntsville is a good neighborhood for walking or has a great park nearby. I’m willing to find the best spot. When we're hanging out at home I love play time with favorite toys, practicing tricks, and snuggling.

Availability
I have a pretty set schedule of Wednesday-Friday from 7-5 and every other weekend from 7:30-5. I am most flexible on Monday’s and Tuesday’s, but am available to provide care before or after work in the second half of the week.
