Adores fur babies and plants!

Pet care experience

I've grown up on a mini-farm in Lower Naches with dogs, cats, chickens and plants. As primary caregiver, I've administered medications to senior pets as well as trained Aussie Cattle Dogs and rescues with basic commands. In the last 15+ years, I've been house and pet sitting for family, friends, and coworkers. I've really enjoyed letting them leave town knowing their pets are well taken care of and loved.

Sarah was great with my 3 pup's. She played tug with Cole and hugged on Abby. Miss Piglet is antisocial, so I don't have to worry about her!! It was a relief knowing the pup's were in good hands with someone who cares. I highly recommend Sarah.

Sarah is beyond caring. She kept my 6 month old puppy overnight at her home and was amazing. Not only did he receive great care, but he was also socialized, exercised, and offered a new brand of toy that is now his favorite! He loved it so much, I'm not sure he was happy to come home. I highly recommend Sarah for all your pet care needs. She takes the care of animals seriously. Not a hobby, but a passion.

I've known Sarah for many years and when she told me that she does pet-sitting care, she was the first one I would call when I knew I was going to be heading out of Town. Sarah is very prompt and reliable and has been doing a great job watching after my fur-baby when I'm away. She's very courteous with reliable check-ins to let me know how things are doing and gives my cat the love and attention she needs when I'm gone. I'd definitely recommend her care for anyone needing a little extra help with their pets, she's been a life saver for me with my schedule taking me away from the house. My many thanks to her, and my solid recommendation!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a hard-sided kennel crate for those that need their space to be comfy, otherwise, my rescue pups are on their rug/pet beds. My large semi-fenced yard is an activity zone for doing their business and play time. I discourage their solo adventures into my pasture if their ears get turned off and nose runs the show, but understand they are curious and need activity on a leash instead. For those needing dedicated walks, I also have a well maintained long driveway with minimal traffic to enjoy a leashed walking experience.

Information Sarah H. would like to know about your pet

I'm happy to accommodate special needs, seniors and administer medications, I just need to know their schedule and dosages when we do our Meet & Greet. It's helpful to know their routine upfront and tailor my own schedule to best meet their needs.

A typical day

I believe a good dog is a tired dog with all their needs met, so I'm happy to provide play time and walks to keep them at ease. My own rescue pups have dedicated morning and afternoon play time with a Chuck-It ball, suspended balloon to "boop" and frequent leashed walks around the semi-fenced front yard for cataloging smells and restroom breaks. I'm excited to help your fur baby feel loved and appreciated while you're away!

I'm working with school kids in the morning and early afternoon. However, I adore pets and their people. I'd love the opportunity to walk, pop in visit, or care for your pet during the evening or an occasional overnight when you're away.
