Hi! I’m Sarah :) I've been on Rover since 2021 (took a little break while I moved abroad) but I'm back and ready to meet your pup! I've gotten the chance to meet so many incredible dogs already through Rover and I can't wait to meet yours! I've walked a variety of dogs ranging in size and personalities. During your pups walk: - They will get great variety on their walks! Whether it's residential walking, walks on the pier or throughout a park. They will have lots of fun exploring! - Your doggie will get a lot of pets on their head and lots of love. I like to sit with them on a bench for a few minutes during their walk to give them a break and have a nice bonding moment with them. - I always take photos during their walks to send back to you. - I am able to follow special requests as needed. - I am very proactive in your dogs safety and keep them on leash. I am also very cautious about other dogs passing by during the walks, and make sure the dog is friendly before your dog says hello! *currently only walking dogs in Port Moody, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam. More about me: I’ve had 2 family dogs, a cocker spaniel who has passed and a west highland white terrier who is now 12. I know how to take care of senior dogs who have special needs and require more patience. My cocker spaniel unfortunately became blind and deaf during the last years of her life but I still took her outside for walks so she could have a high quality of life regardless of her poor health. I would walk the 2 pups together, which meant navigating a small energetic pup alongside a slower senior blind dog. With 21+ years taking care of dogs, I've learned some skills and tricks that can come in handy during walks. I keep a close eye on your pup and know how to get pups to spit something out they've picked up in their mouth during a walk (as my Westie always finds something he shouldn't be eating, so if that's an issue you have with your pup, you can be assured they'll have the safest walk with me.) The best part of my day is seeing the doggies happy and I love to help people, who may not have the time or the access to provide incredible walks to their pups. I am very physically fit so walks longer than an hour or two are very easy for me. If you have an energetic dog who needs extra long walks or multiple walks a day, Im your person! I have a flexible schedule and access to a vehicle. I am very happy to cater to any special requests you may have and I am looking forward to meeting your pup and showing them the views !
