5-star care for your fur-sweeties! I have owned several cats in the past but currently do not have one. I am a dog Mom to a 5 year-old rescue named Zoe. I am an experienced dog walker, with nearly 400+ walks under my belt. I adore dogs and cats and treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. I make sure to allow them to explore their environment, while maintaining boundaries and enforcing rules. I prefer to do a brief meet and greet to make sure we have a good fit for all. At these meetings I also learn about the dog's leash etiquette, mannerisms and your preferences. I am comfortable with the gamut—from sociable to timid to special needs. There will be fun and games, brushings, treats, cuddles, walks or just chilling on the couch to make the shyest feel more comfortable. I have been known to read to the most reclusive of cats And as for photos of my feline and canine subjects...well, you may have to ask me to stop sending them. Sarah was so kind and sweet to our kitty! She took awesome photo and videos each day of him, and we could tell he was happy. We feel so lucky to have had Sarah take care of him while we were away for the holidays, and we will definitely request her help again next time we’re away!
It was great having Sarah look out for our cats while on vacation. Daily updates and pictures were great, and she was able to get our shy cat to come out to play. 10/10
Sarah was absolutely amazing watching our cat, Sadie. Sarah was really attentive and provided photos and updates about how Sadie was doing. She was also very communicative and on time for each visit. Will definitely be requesting her time again to watch Sadie.

A typical day
I keep my dog walks interesting and stimulating for all my 4-legged clients. On hot days we seek intermittent shade, pace ourselves and make sure to offer extra water. I am cautious about allowing to approach other dogs or unless specifically permitted. I try to allow the last 5-7 minutes of the visit for some chill-down time to allow my pups to cool off, take some water, play a little before transitioning to crate or goodbyes. I care for all my clients as if they were my own.

I am home in the company of my dog Zoe the majority of the time with occasional outings of no more than four hours and see pets in the Arlington, Alexandria and eastern Fairfax county areas.
