Pet care experience
I am a surgical veterinary assistant at a veterinary hospital in Tacoma with extensive experience working and living with animals. I have always had animals in my life and know how to care not only for dogs, but cats, birds and reptiles as well. I'm married and have two beagles and an Aussie shepherd which are my pride and joy and are completely spoiled rotten. I recently moved to the Roy area and I'm looking forward to walking and caring for dogs, cats and any critter you call family. In my spare time I love to hike, paint, garden and play piano. I have an enormous collection of indoor plants which require meticulous care. I’m incredibly aware of animal needs and strive to be the best caregiver, walker, and cuddler that I can be!

Sarah does an amazing job! This is our second time using her for a stay! She takes great care of our fur family and has great knowledge of animals! Always feel peace of mind when we are gone!

It is such a relief to have found someone I can trust to not only be in my home but take care of my dogs, who are truly like my children. Sarah consistently has shown up to take care of my dogs while I was out of town. She was great about communicating and providing updates, and I will definitely be using her again!
Sarah loves dogs more then she loves humans. If you are looking for a dog lover with the added benefit of professional clinical experience she is your girl.

I’m unfortunately unable to board pets at my home currently. Hopefully in the future I’ll have a fenced yard to allow outdoor time at my home. I know how stressful it is to have mom/dad leave and be left with a stranger, so routine is incredibly important. You tell me what you need down to the littlest detail and I will do my best by your pet.

Any specific behaviors/ fears for the dog while walking (dog triggers, bike triggers, doesn’t like kids, etc.), dietary limitations or what specific treats they like. Exercise limitations and favorite toys!
A typical day
I’m very new to the Roy area so learning where to walk and exploring will be fun for both of us! Having an Aussie shepherd has opened my eyes to not only physical demands of some breeds, but the need for mental stimulation as well. And as always, everyone loves treats!

Availability
Pet care takes the number 1 priority in my life, having 3 pets of my own as well as working with animals for my career. Having an Aussie shepherd requires a lot of time and commitment to have a happy tired puppy. I travel for work so unless I’m out of the state, I’m available to care for all types of animals!
