Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was in 6th grade. At one point we had 4 at once! I adopted my first dog my senior year of college, she was 10 and I gave her a good home through the end of her time. I adopted my last dog 5 years ago, but he recently left us at the age of 12. I am definitely looking for some extra dog time! I have a soft spot for seniors, but love puppies and everything in between! I frequently dog sit for my friends and will walk them during the day and feed if they're in a pinch.

While walking my own dog, we would stop at all cross walks, cross the street when we see other dogs as he was reactive (but I carry this forward with all dogs - you just never know!), and never over-did our walks. My biggest priority is a happy, healthy dog!

Information Sarah G. would like to know about your pet
***Please note I am requiring Meet & Greets for new clients with dogs over 40 lbs!*** I also am happy to house sit during the day at your pup’s place if I’m able to bring my laptop and work from there! I do not do overnight house sits currently. If you’re interested, please book as a drop in and I’ll adjust from there! Please let me know if your dog has any sorts of special needs - meds, is reactive on leash, doesn't like other dogs, has any sort of aggression towards ___, things your pup really likes, things your pup doesn't care for, etc. Please also do let me know if someone will be home at any time during my visit with your dog, I am not comfortable entering your space with someone else home!
A typical day
I like to ensure that the pets I care for are mentally and physically stimulated! Per your preference, we can do a basic walk, play fetch inside (or outside if you have a fenced in and secure back yard), play tug of war, do some basic training, or anything that you recommend for your dog!

Availability
I work from home and love a good early morning or quick lunch time walk / play session! I am available most weekdays before work (I start at 9) and after work (I end at 5), and sometimes have availability during the lunch hour so don’t hesitate to reach out!
