Trusty TailWagging TLC Dog Sitting

Pet care experience

I love dogs and they’ve always been an integral part of my life and household. My fur family includes two sweet, good natured dogs, Ginnie, an 8-year-old Pomeranian (6.5 lbs) and Flora, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever Mix (50 lbs). I’ve watched dogs of all sizes over the years (as you can see in the photos!) and we'd love to be your go-to dog sitter and your dog's favorite home away from home. We are best suited for easy-going, socialized personalities of moderate to low energy & activity levels. I cannot accept overly rambunctious/high-energy dogs, dogs with a history of aggression (of any kind), severe separation anxiety, or excessive barkers as they are generally not a good fit for my sociable doggie groups. We love the company of playful, social, and well behaved (mostly!) guests, and we’d be happy to spend quality time with your four-legged best friend so they have the very best experience while you are away. Drop-offs and pick-ups are generally between 7:30am - 7:30pm. Please provide specific drop-off and pick-up times in your request so I can confirm availability and send you boarding information and instructions. A copy of your dog’s current vaccines is required in advance (email address provided upon booking). I am conveniently located in the Roseway neighborhood, near the intersection @ NE 72nd Ave, Fremont and Sandy Blvd by the Safeway), with very easy access to the Portland Airport, I-205, and I-84. I care for dogs like my own, and I am reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. Thanks so much for your interest, and please let me know if you have any questions!

Sarah took great care of our pups and treated them like her own! They made some dog friends while there, and came home very happy!

We boarded our puppy with Sarah over a long weekend on fairly short notice. Sarah was flexible in supporting our needs, very professional and communicative, and we felt 100% safe with our dog in her care. We would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for giving their pet a wonderful home and/or caretaker, and would certainly book again. Thanks, Sarah!

I have a cozy and secure home in NE PDX, with a fully fenced backyard. Dogs are never left unattended in the backyard, always fed separately, and there are comfy couches and dog beds for resting and napping. AC is available for the hot summer days, and there is a large covered outdoor space that is dry from the rain. PLEASE READ: I am very particular about security and have implemented two house rules: 1. Owners are not allowed inside my house. Please do not knock at the front door as it makes the dogs crazy excited. Plan to text me when you arrive to drop off or pick up your dog and I will meet you outside at my driveway gate. This way my dogs, and any guest dogs, will be safe and secure indoors. 2. For the safety and security of all dogs, we do NOT go out on walks or visit dog parks, as my ultimate responsibility is to ensure your dog is safe and pre-assess the behaviors of other dogs they will be around. There is no risk of running into a loose or stray dog/cat, slipping out of collars, or leash aggression, and there is plenty going on at my house to keep dogs happy, exercised, and entertained.
