Sarah is great. She has sat for us several times!

Unfortunately this was my first experience with Rover and not a good one. The meet and greet went well. I felt comfortable with booking house sitting for my two dogs and cat. Sarah wanted to bring her boyfriend, but since I nor my pets had met him, that wasn’t to occur but did. He was seen in my home. I told her she didn’t have to sleep here as long as she provided potty breaks, food, snacks, and attention. Neighbors report not seeing her often and when she was here, it was very brief. I provided every piece of information I could think to give her about my pets and home, snacks, tv steaming platforms, etc. My directions on amount of times per day dogs go in and out weren’t followed. The feces was not picked up when she walked them at my condo (neighbors witnessing), I lost several of my newly planted flowers she agreed to water. I planned to tip extra for the efforts. My trash can and recycle can were not brought back in per HOA guidelines she was aware of. My toilet was clogged with brown matter and grainy substance (suspected cat litter). There was something dirty all over my daughters bedspread and sheets which was freshly washed when we left. When I returned home, the domed cat litter box (to keep dogs out) had a lid that was off and there was litter all over the floor. No feces found in cat box. Neighbors watch out for one another when they know you’re out of town. I just wish that I had a good experience with the situation. Commitment to take care of someone’s animals and house sit is a big deal and should be taken seriously, given the time needed, and directions followed. They are entrusting you with their home and fur babies. I have a full refund from Rocer on its way after filing this complaint and providing proof of issues.
