I'm Sarah, a freelance translator and PhD researcher, meaning I work from home and have a flexible schedule to suit your needs. The nature of my work means that I can work from anywhere with an internet connection, and can schedule breaks freely into my work for dog-walking, playing, cuddles, and other affection! Because of this, home visits, walks, or house sitting are no problem at all. I've owned and lived with dogs for many years, and currently help my close friend to care for her pug regularly during the day and overnight. I am happy for other dogs to come and play or stay here at my house, provided they are house trained and treated for worms and fleas. Coco the pug is not always here, so there isn't a guarantee of a play partner for your pup. I'd love to provide care to any dog whose owner needs some help with walks, feeding, playing, boarding or house sitting.

Used Rover and Sarah for the first time for a weekend stay for our cavapoo called Alfie. We visited with her first so we could see how Alfie re-acted but also to meet with Sarah and see where Alfie would be staying. We left feeling very comfortable and our gut feelings told us that Alfie would be fine with Sarah. Alfie stayed with Sarah from a Friday to Monday and our gut feeling was perfectly right. I was always dubious when people used to say that "my dog didn't want to leave"... but this is exactly what Alfie was like. He was OK leaving but you could see he was also wanting to stay longer :) It was a great feeling to know that Alfie enjoyed his stay so much that he didn't like saying 'goodbye' to Sarah. Even when we were in the car he was up at the window and barked to her. Sarah posted pictures for us so that we could see he was enjoying himself. Something that we actually need :) every day as we missed him terribly. Overall rating 5 stars and I would have given 10 if I could. We will definitely be using Sarah in the future when needed and I would highly recommend her.
From his first stay with her, Sarah has been brilliant with Billy and made me feel as though I could trust her completely. She put me entirely at ease (for a bit of an obsessive, slightly extra dogmum that’s big), and didn’t bat an eyelid when my oversized sausage dog ran around her garden and proceeded to dive onto her sofa with muddy paws minutes after meeting ? she’s so relaxed and flexible, we now leave Billy with her two days a week and he adores her! 10/10 would Rover again ??
Sarah took really good care of our dog while we went away for the weekend. He looked really sad to leave..!! We will definitely recommend Sarah and will be using her again :)
