10+ years vet experience

Pet care experience

My name is Sarah, and like most people, I’m a huge animal lover. I started working in the animal care field in 2009 at a local humane society. I moved onto veterinary medicine, which I did in 2010. Over the next 10 years I worked through reception, kennel and eventually to an assistant and technician. I started doing this business in 2018 to provide an alternative to boarding facilities. I love keeping pets in their own home! I retired from veterinary medicine as of February 2020 to focus solely on this business and providing top notch care for all of your pets! I am comfortable with all breeds and species of animals, whether they are furry, feathery or scaly. I have years of experience with animal care and treatment and am skilled in medication administration and medical needs. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and have no problem providing extra care for their needs. I am CPR, First Aid and Fear Free certified. I believe in keeping up to date with education and do continuing education and learning to make sure I have the best knowledge for the care of your furry families. I will always take care of your pets as if they are my own!

Sarah was great, she watched Truman, my kitten, while I was away for several days. She was consistent with the times she showed up and sent me daily pictures of the two of them playing. I came back to a clean litter box and food/water bowls filled. Truman warmed up to her very quickly and enjoyed the time they had. I would definitely recommend her and she will be the first I go to for someone to watch Truman in the future.

Sarah is an amazing friend to animals! She is compassionate, curteous, and very knowledgeable about animals. I know she treats my pets like they are her own, and I trust her judgment and ability. When I need someone to take care of my crazy house full of critters (dogs, cat, snake, and gecko!) I am so glad she is there to help.

Sarah was wonderful with both our dogs. Even though it was raining outside, she made she they got plenty of playtime inside during her visits to our home. We'd recommend her wholeheartedly!

Sarah D. is an extremely caring individual. She has taken in pets from her animal clinic that were abandon at the doorway, left in boxes, or tied to the fence. Recently, she took in two senior dogs that were abandon in the parking lot in a box on an extremely hot day. They are about 15 years old and finding a new loving home for them would be challenging. Sarah and her husband Brandon immediately took them in and provided a loving, safe home for them so they could spend their final days with people who are devoted to animals, even if their time is limited. Sadly, one recently crossed the rainbow bridge. She has provided a loving home to cats, rabbits, and other small furry creatures. When Sarah is home, she takes her dogs on walks in a secured netted pet stroller. They LOVE IT! She spends hours cuddling on the couch with them and providing a loving safe environment. I have known Sarah for about seven years. I feel extremely comfortable with her caring for my pets. Over the years she has assisted with helping us take care of our 5 dogs and 4 cats. I can attend conferences, travel, or leave for the day knowing that my animals are safe and if a problem should arise, due to her years of experience working at a veterinary clinic, she could make good, quick decisions for my pets.
