Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog sitter with 6 years of professional experience and 12+ years of personal experience. I am an open, enthusiastic, and friendly individual that has had many years of experience with dogs, and am more than excited to dedicate my free time to hanging out with them! I've been working with Rover since 2018 and within that time I have worked with a variety of breeds, from the smallest to the largest. This has included regular walks, visits, house-sitting, and most popular, day-care and boarding! I have an open availability as I work from home and I am more than open to inviting your dog into my home. My husband and I are located in Langley with a large yard away from heavy traffic! We’re nestled near farm fields and our street has many everyday walkers as it’s the perfect opportunity to get outside and walk your dog. I know I will be an excellent candidate in order to provide great care for your pooch as I am looking to create a bond more than being "the dog walker" or "dog sitter"! :)

Sarah was so great! We had a meeting prior to our dog’s stay, as our rescue pup can be nervous. Not only did she have a great time, but Sarah and her husband were both really great at communicating to let us know how she was doing and giving her the time and environment she needed to feel comfortable!
Sarah and Quinn are great. Maisy had fun with their pup and we’ll definitely be using them again. Sarah was super flexible with pick up and drop off times and very easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Though I do not have a fenced yard, I never take dogs out without a leash unless the owners are comfortable with their recall and do not mind being without a leash. We live in a very quiet and reserved area, with a large yard and an amazing trail to take your pups out on walks. We also have a large leash that when we play outside we tie one end to the patio and let your pup roam free when throwing a ball! We've also blocked off the patio and have had pups hang out with us outside on the patio in the summer :) When they are in my home, your pup is free to roam around the house, hang out with my dog Nala, and treat our home like their own. We do have a large gate we use to separate the living room and kitchen should we need it (in case of accidents, or need to have time out) but we do not crate your pup or leave them locked up for the duration that they are here! I provide bathroom breaks as needed (depending on age and needs) and your dog is never left unattended or alone!

I'd like to know what their bathroom regime is, what allergies they may have, are they vaccinated and/or fixed, and are you comfortable with your dog being around other dogs? (I have a dog of my own and on rare occasions, I'll have another dog sometimes too!)
A typical day
Our home has a large front and backyard with the perfect quiet and non-busy street for multiple walks! We also live near parks and trails as well that I could take them out on - and I’m more than willing to take your pooch out on whatever adventure I may be doing that day (hikes, trip out to the beach). Again, will treat your doggy like one of my own ❤️

Availability
My husband and I both work from home, so our schedule is open and flexible all the time. Making it easy to allow us to give your dog as much attention as possible! Between myself and my husband you can be sure your pup is never ever left alone :)
