Hello! I'm Sarah and I'm 27 years old. I currently work full-time and am looking to help with dog sitting and dog walking as a way to add some enjoyment to my life. I've grown up in a dog home, from puppy to senior, so I have experience with all ages. I dog-sit for my friends for multiple days at a time, and have experience in walking large and small dogs, dogs that are high and low energy, puppies, senior dogs, administering medication, with dogs that are shy and outgoing. I'm able to establish a connection with a dog easily by getting down on their level and letting them come to me first to build trust. I love all dogs and would love to work with all dog breeds and sizes. Dogs make me happier than pretty much anything, and I hope I can bring that joy to your pup as well!

Sarah grew up with a daschund so she is comfortable with dogs. I have a 60lb mutt and he adores Sarah. I truly believe dogs know who dog people are and dogs love Sarah. She is kind and gentle and very loving. She's the go to pet sitter for many friends.

I would want to know if they're shy, outgoing, nervous, etc., and if there is anything I can do to make them more at-ease. Also, how they are with other dogs and other animals. Will they chase a squirrel, nip at another dog, anything like that. If there is anything that gets them angry or scared and what to do in that situation. Medications, allergies, and anything medical. No breed preferences or restrictions.
A typical day
If there's a park or scenic area by you, that will be my first choice for a walk. Anywhere where the dog can sniff and have fun. If the dog particularly loves an activity, I'll do that with them. For example, one dog I dog sat loved playing fetch, so we did that all the time. Another simply liked finding giant sticks and showing them to me, so we would go places where he would be able to find a bunch. A senior dog I know just likes to lay around and snuggle, so I do that with them.
