Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Sarah! I am currently a dog mom to a 10 year-old 5lb yorkie-poo and hopefully in the future a dog mom to many more pups. In the meantime, I’d love for your pup to be a pseudo dog child of mine. During your pup’s stay, you can expect us to spend time taking long strolls, picnicking (if the weather is nice), and hanging out in the dog park. But please let me know if your dog isn’t social or doesn’t play well with others and I won’t take them there to make sure they are as comfortable as can be. I grew up with various animals from parakeets to dogs to horses. My family still has 6 dogs (between 5 and 120lbs), each of whom I love. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, oral medications, injectables, doggy diapers, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and grooming. Please contact me with any questions so I can make your pup feel at home!

Sarah was amazing taking care of my terrier rescue splinter! She was super accommodating on pickup and dropoff, great at communicating/updates, and took awesome pics of him (seriously some of his best shots)! Highly recommend!

I live in a condo and unfortunately do not have outdoor space. However, I try to make up for that by taking long strolls around the city and going to the dog park, if your pup is up for it and weather permits! We do have stairs, but if your dog isn’t able to do them (i.e., some senior dogs I’ve sat have joint issues), we have baby gates we put up to prevent any accidents going up/down. We also can crate your dog or put them in a playpen if we’re to leave and if this is something you tell us you do. My number one goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for your pup and to provide you peace of mind when you leave them with us. Please tell me your normal routine and I will do my best to stick to that as well.

Please let me know about your dog's behavior and any likes/dislikes (noises, other dogs, etc). Also let me know if your dog is on any medications, needs food administered/prepared a certain way, and if he/she gets treats after walks. I have mild allergies so prefer hypoallergenic breeds if staying overnight in my condo. However, I can’t resist the smile of a pup! Happy to walk/drop in on dogs of all sizes and breeds! Thanks for considering me!
A typical day
I live just a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square, a few blocks from Love park/Dilworth Park, and am close to the Schuylkill River Trail and dog parks (separate large and small sides). We'll spend most of our time together strolling through the city or playing in the park.

Availability
Due to the COVID environment and impact it’s had on the ways we work, my husband and I both work from home. That said, my hours are much more flexible than in the past when I would travel to the office and client sites. Due to our alternating schedules, one of us is home each day so there will always be someone home with your pup!
