I love to have all sorts of little dogs in the home. I have one requirement that they cohabitate well with my old man dog. I do have a cat too but she always ignores dogs. Teeth brushing is not a problem, playtime is frequent, and hugs are unlimited. Walks consist of around the neighborhood blocks and to smaller neighborhood parks. On weekends we'll usually go to the bigger parks - Baxter woods is a favorite and summer might see longer hikes. If your pup is as great at scaling the tallest of hills, he or she will come with us! Dogs are not caged in our home, but I can diaper them if there might be some incontinence issues. If you train them to be crated, they can be crated if they are more comfortable that way. Kongs, treats, and extra kibble is available.
